Wear white, wear white, the Ashram inmates say
For death is neither ending nor delay,
Nor is this formidable event a test
To reach unharmed the spirit's place of rest.
The human journey pauses, there is no end
Of stepping into light, none can suspend
The soul's advance, the seeker on the way,
Or his progress halt from night into the day.
